Here are some pictures of the project that I worked on this semester. These pictures are samples from stem and roots that have been cut up and placed on slides and then taken a picture of while on the microscope. The white circles are vessels and they were measured with a program in order to get the average diameter.
The stems and roots were stained, which is why they turned out so colourful! :)
These are stunning. There is so much beauty in nature.
